A Uganda-based destination management organisation, built specifically around Murchison Falls National Park and the wider Uganda safari circuit — not a reseller working from a desk overseas.
Travelmonke (legal name: Travelmonke Tours and Travel) operates as a destination management organisation (DMO): we plan, book, and run every part of your Murchison Falls safari ourselves, on the ground in Uganda — vehicles, guides, lodge relationships, park permits, and logistics — rather than reselling a package assembled by someone else. When something needs adjusting mid-trip, you're talking to the people actually running it, not a call centre relaying messages to a ground operator three time zones away.
Every itinerary on this site is operated directly by our own team and vehicles, with direct relationships at the lodges we recommend.
We built this business around one park first, and expanded outward — genuine depth in Murchison Falls specifically, not a thin listing across every African country.
Real cost breakdowns, real park fees, and itineraries built from what's actually achievable on the ground — not marketing copy.
Uganda safari planning is full of scattered, inconsistent information — fees that vary by source, itineraries copy-pasted between operators, and vague "starting from" pricing that rarely matches reality. Our content and our itineraries are built the opposite way: grounded in what a trip actually involves day by day, updated as park fees and permit costs change, and written by people who've actually driven these routes.
Every vehicle we run is a registered Uganda tourist vehicle, branded and maintained by our own team — not hired in from a third party for the day. Our driver-guides know these routes because they drive them every week, not from a manual.
From the moment you're met at the park gate to the last game drive of your trip, the same team that built your itinerary is the one running it on the ground.
Travelmonke Tours and Travel is licensed by the Uganda Tourism Board under licence number UTB/RTT/TT/2025/101816, and operates under Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) partner arrangements for park access and permits. [ATTA membership status and years-in-operation to be added here once confirmed — do not publish unverified credentials beyond the UTB licence above.]
Tell us your dates, budget, and priorities — we'll build an itinerary around them, not the other way around.
