Who Kabalega was

Omukama Kabalega ruled the Bunyoro-Kitara kingdom in the late 19th century and became one of Uganda's most celebrated historical figures for his sustained, years-long resistance against British colonial expansion — a rare and significant chapter of active resistance during the colonial "Scramble for Africa."
